Getting to Newcastle

Tram / MetroTyne and Wear Metro's Central Station stop is directly underground beneath the mainline station, reached via lifts and stairs from the National Rail concourse, with level boarding onto Metro trains. It is the third-busiest station on the Metro network and serves both the Green and Yellow lines across the wider Tyne and Wear network.
